The Morris Foundation is always pleased and encouraged by the success stories and the impact cooperative leadership development conferences have on scholarship recipients. Please read the feedback for yourself:
“By broadening my understanding of the coop movement, this program has given me the vision necessary to see the larger role my coop can have in providing services to people and to see myself as a catalyst for advancing the coop movement. Leadership was needed to get where we are today, and leadership will be needed in the future.”

CCMA has proven itself again to be the conference where you can learn so much in such a short amount of time. I attended workshops for start-up coops, board development, legal concerns, hiring GM information and heard first hand stories from successful start-ups. In addition, to the workshops, there were so many opportunities to be able to talk to other people in the industry, including consultants, other board members and coop staff and managers. The personal connections made go beyond the conference and this alone makes attending the conference valuable. However, the workshops are led by such knowledgeable people that I came away with a ton of information to share with my board and volunteers.
